She wasn't chasing a diet. She was chasing a reason to feel like herself again.
For most of her adult life, Jovee believed she was reasonably healthy — she exercised on and off, ran busy businesses, and was always moving. What she didn't realise was that movement alone couldn't undo years of late-night bakery treats, five hours of sleep, and a body quietly running on stress and sugar. Her weight had sat at 63kg for years. Nothing moved it — not for long.
So she got curious instead. She spent weeks on what she now calls her "YouTube University," taking notes like a student, learning about sugar, insulin, and how food really works in the body. She swapped the nightly bakery box for real plates — protein, vegetables, healthy fats. And her body responded in a way years of on-again, off-again dieting never had.
"I used to weigh 63kg and think that was simply how my body was. Now I maintain 50kg — and I've never felt hungry doing it."
Same appetite. Completely different plate.
